nuvi that are capable of 1 second tracks aka easter egg

nuvis are designed only for navigation...units for tracking are a bit expensive than nuvis and is usually handheld.
tracking will depend largely on unit's accuracy, +/-3m is good enough.
nuvis with easter egg capability can do +/-3m when there is no obstruction like bldgs, trees, etc.
check out garmin 60csx, its recommended for tracking, you can +/-2m accuracy on clear areas.

+ you'll never regret with 60 csx, I use it in land ,water, air for tracking

But you have a 360 so I assume you use it inside you car and the way you track is by using a car, then go for Nuvi with easter egg capability with bigger screen. If not, then you can go for 60 csx (with smaller screen

Ive been reading about 1second Tracklog and I saw that Nuvi 260W was on the list but Ican't seem to find the "WHERE AM I" on my 260w. Can anyone please help. All these technical stuffs are giving me a headache.

If you cannot find the where am I feature, I'm afraid your unit does not have the capability of easter egg unless you modify your firmware (see link below)
Nuvi Series ending in 5's are usually have this feature.

Thanks for replying. I see in your profile that you have a 60cxs. How much did you get it? I am planning to buy one but not planning to dispose of my nuvi. I just want a handheld because it is more usable for my kind of activity. I asked a store in Cubao, I think they price too high. Would you care to share where you got yours? Thanks

Ways to access:
(a) In Map view, press speed button on lower right, then press the center of the circular speedometer on the center left screen for 5 sec. You will get to the diagnostic page, press "diagnostic logging" and then press Start recording. 1sec tracks is on, and will display "New log recording" when you turn on your unit.

(b) 1-2-3-4 sequence.. hard to give instructions in text, better visit this forum:

*You can only Start the recording if your unit has satellite lock, if you do not have satellite lock the Start button will be "Greyed" and unclickable. If this happens just get satellite lock and try again.

(c) Models with HWID 1091 Firmware might not have 1sec tracking feature.

(d) Some models with latest firmware might have an option to save 1sec logs as bin or gpx file. Always choose the gpx option if asked. Then the 1sec track files can be found in the Nuvi unit in the .system/log/gpx copy to your computer drive and open with mapsource wNutrak not necessary anymore. http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=4&page=11

hi anthony, can you please show me how you activate, your 1s tracklog, i just bought a nuvi 260w, i try the 1234 sequence, but no luck, my hwid 1122 is not on roadguide2000 link also, that this means garmin also disable this feature on 260w, thanks.

hi arvin555, still out of the country, i manage to activate the 1 sec tracking because when i do the 1234 sequence, the start recording appear, i will try it when i got home if it is working.

i think you have to install a patch for the nuvi xx0 series, but i think some units already have their firmware updated.
what i'm saying is, not all nuvi xx0 are capable of the easter egg
