Guys, Im new here, Is a there another link where i can download this file? Evertime i extract it im getting an error msg that the CRC has failed. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Try saving it first and then run it from your HD.
If error still persist, maybe problem is in your IP.
Try downloading from another IP.

Run the exe file. The resulting gmapsupp.img file is not meant to be extracted. Just copy and paste it to the garmin folder and it should work fine.

Hi ekobs70. Even if it's the standard map you get, it'll still help you big time if you want to go around the Philippines with your GPS... . Hope you'll share waypoints and tracks of your travels and in due time qualify for the contributor's map which is way much nicer than the standard map...

run exe.
copy paste extracted gmapsupp.img in the garmin(or appropriate folder of your device)

It should point to there, and your download should start automatically. What browser are you using, btw?

Tried downloading it today and it works fine. Do you get a download window or you just simply can't even start downloading it? Try downloading other files from other sites to see if the same problem also occurs.

Sorry I'm new here and I've been searching posts for an hour na hoping i could find something to DL for my Nuvi 205W. Still overwhelmed by the vast number of posts in the FORUM.

I bought mine in Cubao, maps are ok, but when I went to Tiendesitas, it does not know the roads. It's all cabbages, and carrots lang (stated road names)

For your Nuvi, download the standard map from here http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=6. What map did you find pre-installed and how much did you pay for your Nuvi? Download the demo map v1.06, check out the coverage of the contributor's map. Better, send in your contributions so you get to enjoy the updated map. The standard map is as you say it is maybe, but now you know that there's something better. Your call...
