Home-made mount

Homebrew version. GPS is held in place to the plexiglas plate using 3M double sided tape on the 4 corners. Wing nut allows me to easily de-mount the GPS whenever I need to. This simple mount (1 screw + bracket) has traveled >1,000kms already and it has held well. Power while navigating is supplied through the USB plug.

I had originally used 3mm aluminum for the plate but this material reduced the received signal strength considerably so I switched to 6mm-thick plexiglas.

here na! my vespa with my Nuvi 550 water resistant daw (not sure if its true but so far no problem naman even am riding with lots of rain)
