    Map Detail Locked

    Hi Guys,

    Haven't updated my map in a while. Using an old Zumo 450 and might be going on another long ride around the Philippines. Would like to update to the latest contributors map but I guess I haven't done this in a while cuz I'm having problems.

    Have a new computer so I need to reinstall mapsource. Couldn't find my mapsource CD that came with my GPS so I had to install it using the instructions here.

    Installed the training center and upgraded to version 6.13.7





    then I clicked on unlock map





    entered the code that I got a long time ago




    then it says I successfully unlocked the map




    the the map detail says it's still locked





    What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a step?

    maybe your code was for version 1

      if your unlock code is current, in Mapsource menu please go VIEW/SHOW GPS DETAIL... HTH

        hello to all

        I also have this kind of problem. I have the current unlock code since i recently got the contributor status. I followed suggestions of sir borgie on mapsource menu - show gps detail, but still got a map detail locked status.
        Need help. TIA

          Did you use the unlock code given to you by the judge?
          If you did, pm him again, maybe he fekkup in your code.

              Yup I probably still had the version 1 code

              Jan pointed me to a new set of codes uploaded as a text file at

              Contributors Section: General Issues

              searched the text file for my unit ID and saw my new code

              Thanks Jan, really appreciate it.

              All set now for a 10 Day ride around Visayas.
