Searching for a Way Point in Mapsource

If I type in Fabritech on my Garmin 255W it shows me the way point. If I try to type it in Mapsource it won't allow me to, even though the way point is on the map. Are there some advanced search features in mapsource I need to adjust?

it's either a problem with mapsource or the rg map. when searching for waypoints on a pc, you'll have better results with basecamp.

Problem with mapsource. They don't support searching some categories to which fabritech belongs to.

You can use BaseCamp. The POI in question is searchable there.
