Mapsource compatibility w Palm Treo 680 Smartphone
Im using a Palm Treo 680 with Garmin Mobile XT software connected via Bluetooth to a Holux M1000 external GPS
I have discovered that the compatible Mapsource version is 6.13.7
with 6.15.7 I am unable to upload my exported GPX file from the treo onto mapsource ,
this prevents me from checking if my newly marked waypoints are already on the demo map and effectively prevented me from making new contributions
the mapsource program gives an error message - i sent the error log and asked garmin support and it says there is a date-time / discrepancy or inconcistency , but both my unit time and the mapsource time (on laptop) are the same. no matter what i do , the mapsource wont open the .gpx exported files.
i removed 6.15.7 and reinstalled 6.13.7 only and the problem disappears.
SO for those using a Treo 680 w Garmin Mobile XT to an external GPS receiver, keep your Mapsource at version 6.13.7 and be happy c",)
