Unlocking maps?

Hi,

I'm trying to start use of Basecamp and also just recently bought a 2nd unit (after my first one got damaged). I have installed the new version of the map using map source but when I try to load the map in basecamp, it tells me that it is still locked. When I check how to unlock, the only option to unlock is online. Not sure what I should do next. Can anyone help?

Kos, I assume that you already got an unlock code from "the judge" for your new unit right? If not yet, then you need to ask for an unlock code using your new unit's serial number.

Otherwise, if you have the unlock code already Kuya Jan posted how to use basecamp already and this is what he said about unlocking:

"what else needed in how to?
ah unlocking maps. looks like mapsource.... maps / manage map products / unlock regions/ add"

Just cut and paste your unlock code after "add".
