Long round trip in planning Dumaguete-Mindanao-Manila-Mindoro and back to Dumaguete.

Hello, plan is in a few weeks time. (I'm a foreigner so Mindanao is tickling a little bit)
    Safety advice is really appreciated.

Before I bore you with my trip, any advice why my last additions to Roadguide Map are not approved, so my extra mapping on the way around Phil's is not in vain? GPS will be on all the time while driving

This is a motorcycle trip, looking really forward to it.

In Mindanao I will only drive in daylight if I can.

This Forums Advice of places I should visit see on my trip, this is a vacation, exploration of Philippines.
What route is more beautiful, often I can have multiple choices as to route options. Almost have two weeks on the trip.

Motorcycle round-trip from Dumaguete slow start with Ferry boat to Dapitan(Dipolog) visit (The Rizal Shrine, maybe probably arrive to early).
Ozamiz - Tangub ferry to Tubod then Iligan City and (Tinago Falls, Maria Cristina Falls) then continue costal road El Salvador city drop by (Divine Mercy Archdiocesan Shrine to stretch our legs) so on to Cagayan de Oro (Xavier Museum if time permits), probably spend first night there.
Cagayan de Oro, continue costal road to Balingoan (Camiguin Island probably spend a day or two, lot to do there) Butuan City then to Surigao City.

Ferry to (Pulo ng Leyte), not sure witch port to arrive to yet options are (San Ricardo or to Maasin City, later is probably the better one, ref additions in TripAdvisor ), have to visit/go through Tacloban for crossing over to (Isla han Samar) on the famous (San Juanico Bridge) and drive up to reach Allen City for taking the ferry over to Matnog for my last distance to Manila.

    Dumaguete, To Manila via Mindanao

Few days in Manila to fix some private stuff.

Then Manila, down to Batangas then ferry over to Puerto Galera (Mindoro Island), Bulalacao or Roxas to Caticlan by ferry. Then I have arrived to (Panay Island, Visayas) Aklan to Antique Province and driving to Dumangas Port, Iloilo City.
Ferry from Iloilo to Bacolod City, then I’m home on my own Island Negros J

If you find the time. Ride down to davao. Buda hiway Is something you should do, then up the east coast if you are on a dual sport or davao to butuan if your aren't.
As for the ferry from surigao. They used to leave "a Las puno" that might hav changed not sure. East coast of samar samar pretty nice aswell.

The ferry from Surigao to Leyte (either San Ricardo or Liloan (N10 09.547 E125 07.472)) originates at the Lipata terminal. These are daytime trips of 2 and 4 hours, respectively. There is a Cokaliong ferry that goes from the Surigao City terminal to Maasin, but only once a week (Thursdays). Cokaliong leaves Surigao City at 7 PM and arrives Maasin around 2 AM, drops off cargo and passengers then continues on to Cebu City.

      Cokaliong schedule:

Google for information on the Lipata ferrys.

Sounds like a great trip. I've driven my motorcycle from CDO down to Valencia in Bukidnon, then back to CDO and on through Butuan to Surigao City, where I live. Good roads, for the most part. You shouldn't have any issues. I agree about driving only during the day because road hazards (and people) are not well lighted after dark. Look me up when you get to Surigao and we'll swap some stories over a beer or two.

Good info about the ferries thank you.
Probably take you up on that one, if not arriving in too odd hours. "Look me up when you get to Surigao and we'll swap some stories over a beer or two."

Think I do not have time this time for Davao, probably a trip in its own.

Info about east coast of Samar Samar is going to be used, in my trip .. Great tip.

One question, if what i added as new track is not implemented where should I ask why, it standing in relevant tread? But what is relevant tread?
Did drive around extra to get mapped up a small drive trough town on west coast cebu still not in the map.

No worries. Many hotels, new and old; places to stay close to each terminal, downtown or near a mall. If you're not stopping, just wave. LOL
