Stevensen, you could alwasy try to get 1sec tracks for calibration for it, so whenever you go through the place please try to get 1sec or easter egg tracks then upload in tracks for calibration area

Cool that it is already open, it should also mean that going through Star Toll will also be way faster, so Manila to Batangas will also benefit.

thanks Arvin - didn't realise that was something we could do to help the map. I've noticed quite a few roads in and around Calamba aren't exactly where my gps says they are!

i will go read the how to on track calibration now!

yes it is open i just passed that route last night and it only took me less than 20 mins from sto tomas to alabang easy driving. I will upload the 1 sec track later north bound.

Sirs, Just to remind you, please post your 1 Sec tracks in the 1Sec Track upload thread.

1. Posting it here, the files might not be seen by the Admins.
2. Posts here can be downloaded by other members, which might end up somewhere else (not a bad thing if your main purpose is to share).

Thanks for your explanation, because of that, I got curious and downloaded your tracks.

1. Yeah weird, only think that I can think of is that your GPSR might have lost satellite signal this was on your Nuvi right?

Or maybe you were driving like a madman that the GPS couldn't keep a good lock, hehehe!

2. You know you can still just cut off the long track portions because the most important parts are along the intersection anyways, which showed nice 1 sec tracks.

But I guess you go through that area often so you can gather some more data Cheers!

Broder Jan, no wonder my GPS couldn't route through the SLEx-Star Toll link. I tried the link yesterday. Five minutes to traverse. Beautiful asphalt stretch. Saves a lot of time vs the old road.

I guess the commercial establishments along the old route will suffer from the new road.
