Or just get a Garmin leather case. Go original for your original.

For screen protectors, you can use the apple track pad protector and have that cut (game and gadgets.) You can also opt to get a garmin nuvi lcd screen protector. Its only around 300 to 400 pesos in Malaysia. I have one on my 1470, fits perfectly. My previous 765twn was scratched when I went walking with it in pedestrian mode. (never put in your back pocket ala wallet).

Anybody recognized that the screenprotectors are more glaring than the original screen? I also wanted to put a protector film on but all I found until now produces more reflections. Pity because the anti-glare screen of the nuevi gets really scratched. So or so, I will just try the one favoured by the others, thanks for the info.

Never used a screen protector on my Nuvi 255W. Though, I never put it in my pocket or bag. Whenever I remove it from the car, I just store it inside the center console, suction mount and all.

Not a scratch on the screen in over a year of owning it. Though, the only scratched part is the area where the mounting clips mates with the GPS. But I guess that's unavoidable.

You can try the matte finish the apple track pad protector has. It worked quite well with my 765.

There's a lot in www.ebay.com (ebay USA), screen protector, case etc., you can purchase online and delivered to your door. The only thing you need is to have ebay and paypal account, of course you need to have credit card to be able to get paypal account....

or just go to games and gadgets and have it professionaly cut and installed. :-) Cost is around 300 I think.
