    Hi gabo001147,

    Of course you must use the map from this site. Its not the same with OSM one; the difference is our map is more complete and more user friendly.

      OSM map below 10mb
      roadguide 5.08 or 5.17 map 16mb
      roadguides contributors 1.07 map 27mb

        how come theres a big difference from the roadguide 5 and roadguide contributors??

        i read this thread http://www.roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=397

        how do I save POIs on garmin xt? I think POIs are the easiest for me to contribute..... will it make me a contributor?

        what are waypoints? polygon traces? and tracks??

        sabog na utak ko... haha

          Hi gabo00174, read this thread (GPS Jargon) http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=1006 it contains the items that you are inquiring about. If your time permits, I suggest you read the How To section and once you have learned enough start contributing and you are on your way to be a contributor.. most of us started this way...

            I agree with razorspells that you must read first the "how to" section. By reading those you will learn the basics and when you encountered something that you didn't understand then you start throwing questions. Build the foundations first before the doing the upper sections.
