Probably just one of those people who like to get quick bucks by selling overpriced Garmins loaded with the free map.

Complete Road Map of the Philippines (Duh?!)

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this one. Pls move this thread to a more appropriate forum (just in case).

Came across this in Facebook:

I tried to call the posted phone number, and clarified with the person who answered some information regarding the map. He told me that the map is pretty much complete (I very much doubt that!) in major cities including provinces. Though, he admitted, turn restrictions and one way streets are not 'yet' complete and 'too' far from being accurate.

I asked if they are commercially selling the map already. He said they are still discussing if they would be selling it separate. As of now, they are selling units preloaded with 'their' map.

I only inquired about nuvi 205W... they are selling it at P25k!
Rip off?
