Most vehicles in the PI are not in compliance with that standard. Not just PUJs.
There are very few private vehicles now that don't have full tint in the windshield. In my village, maybe only 5% of cars have no tint. My household is part of that small 5%.

sir would appreciate it if you can update us about your plight on this subject, if you had to go through NTC, and what were the costs.

Again if it is only a GPS receiver without any bells and whistles I still say there is no need for NTC permit!
