Oh no, I can’t sleep tonight!

I saw a road today, it was not on the map – where does it go?
I saw a track today, it was not on the map – good shortcut somewhere?
The database said, two schools in that Barangay – I only found 1?
Where are those missing Barangay’s?
I know that Barangay – where is the Barangay hall?
That main road on the map, I’m sure it’s a rough Road?
Everyone says it is rough, a sedan won’t make it, I’m sure!
Oh no, I can’t sleep tonight – what to do?

Get on your bike and ride – whimp!

So I got on my bike, I rode the 60km and climbed the 850m to Salvador Benedicto,
I rode that rough, rough road all 60km to Sagay,
The shortcut I found in google was rough, rough good,
I rode the 70km to meet the wife.
My bum has blisters, by back hurts, every muscle in my legs ache!
But I scratched the itch – I should sleep tonight?

I saw many roads today, they are not on the map – where do they go?
I saw many tracks today, they are not on the map – go interesting places?
Saw many school signs today – just down there they said!
What are the names of those Barangay’s I rode through?
Where were those Barangay halls?
Which junction leads to that suspension bridge over the Bago, you can see it in Google?
Oh no, I can’t sleep for a week – what to do?

Ah a nice cool San Miguel, thank you dear.
Maybe I can sleep tonight!

Thanks for sharing... i've been asking myself the same questions as well when i'm biking and see a road not yet on the map . You've put into words what we think in our head when we're out biking. Very nice...
