When I got a Garmin GPS 18 late 2008, it came with a DVD containing a City Navigator North America 2008 map. It was on sale and cost less than $30 at amazon and imo, it was a very good deal considering how much Garmin map DVD's for the US are selling...

A bluetooth GPS 10x is way way better than a GPS 18...

Try this... www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/114/ you might need to poke around for other states, it wasn't as easy as downloading and opening it in mapsource... I grabbed the Alaska map yesterday and had to follow a simple process to get mapsource to load it but once I figured that out I was a happy camper.

Thanks for the link sir. I already downloaded the new york map. Is this a map only because when i opened it on mapsource, i can't see any waypoints.

As for the map, yeah I think it is just a map, no way points sorry. I probably didn't fully understand what you were asking for sorry about that... It fit the bill for something I was trying to do as I was learning how to do 1 sec tracks before I get there in 2 weeks.
