I only have the following mapsource 6137, roadguide 101demo. jklinc 5.08 and training center for windows 343. I am very willing participating to contribute to have more detail information. Thank you.

How can I check the version of my map installed in my NUVI 255W wether it is 5.08 or 5.17?. I have the 5.17 version installed in mapsource and 1.07 demo map. How can I upload the routable 5.17 to my nuvi 255W. Thank you

I have some difficulty with method #1, when I upload to my GPS and checked. only roads are displayed and names are gone.
So I copy again gmapsupp.img to my garmin folder in GPS. However I think my gmapsupp.img is ver 5.08 only. That's why I'm looking for gmapsupp.img ver 5.17.

Check the map set in your Nuvi (settings-map menu) if you have 5.17..

"The map" is way cool than demo version.
she's a prom queen. so go and work towards it, it's worth the time and effort.

I am still collecting few waypoints, some waypoints are already in the demo map 1.07. So I double-check first prior uploading.
