    Types of Tracker units

    i am very new at this and am planning to go to the Philippines soon. To Bislig City and Davao. i was wondering what types of tracker units would be best to use, so I can upload my travels (cost will be a factor, looking for about 100US+ -).
    Will I still use the 1 sec tracking if I am walking?
    So advice for the noob noob please.
    i have a nuvi 205, (please no mods for this trip).

    good day to you sir.
    if you want to track 1sec. track while walking its ok as long as you swich it to "pedestrian" mode. i assume you already know how to use and switch the easter egg trail.
    we also are in need of a lot of waypoints, but try to contribute as accurate as it can be. check this out: http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=761
    read and try to contribute waypoint. we'll teach you along the way, just dont get offended of the comment coz its the only way you'll learn.

      Hi rickparkinson.
      In addition to hbt, try to check first if your nuvi can record 1-sec tracks.
      If so, then no need to buy a tracker.

        If you want a tracker, try to review the different units available. Amazon.com is a good place to start, like this one http://www.amazon.com/Columbus-V-900...243303&sr=1-24. I've no experience with a GPS tracker so i can't give a good recommendation. Your best friend here is google. Btw, welcome to the forum . HTH
