Newbie from San Lorenzo, Sta. Rosa Laguna

Hi,

I have repeatedly done the ffg:

Download - training center
Download - MapSource 6137/MapSource6157
Download - Basic Map 1.07

Afterwards, I install first the training center -ok. Install the Mapsource 6137 but it prompts this message "Previous Mapsource Not found, Setup will Terminate.

I have removed the downloaded files as I have seen in old messages in newsbies corner and downloaded again the 3 files in that order and install again with the same order but the mapsource installation is not completed with the same prompt message "Previous Mapsource not found."

My OS is Windows 7.

Please help so that I can use my nuvi 1450.

Just a clarification. I downloaded the files and save it in the micro SD card and not directly in my unit. Is this correct?

those apps are meant to be saved and executed on the pc only.

if the procedure that arvin555 suggested still didn't work, try using gmaputil and use the mapsource install fix.

the procedure would be as follows:
-run gmaputil, apply the mapsource fix
-install mapsource
-install the rg ph map
-execute mapsource and upload the rg ph map to gps unit
