I've head of GPS for a long time now but the first time i've really encountered it was when we took a road trip with a friend of mine. Since then I was amazed
by the technology and wanted to give it a try.

I have a Android phone, Samsung Galaxy S, which happens to have a gps sensor
built in, so im looking for a nice gps software to use with the phone and i've
ended up with OSMand+ from the Android Market, its nice to use, however,
accuracy is way off, so im looking for a better solution, then im pointed to this
site for maps and Navitel for the software, hopefully this is the solution im
looking for.

Thanks for the welcome Arvin, I was pointed here by our common friend, as
for your question regarding OSMand+, well there's 2 flavors... one is OSMand
which is free, and the other is OSMand+. I decided to buy the + version after trying out the free one for about 3 weeks.

Oh no you paid for it! I hope it wasn't that much.

Navitel is also a Pay app, but the RG Navitel Map I think is well worth it. Also as long as the Navitel users of RG contributes to RG, then it will be updated from time to time.
