Have been using Tomtom that came with the rental cars over in Europe and thought I'd get myself a unit for use in China and Manila. I now realize Garmin is best for Philippine use. I live in China and now have familiarized myself after getting all confused about "unique' Nuvi models available here (1255, 1355, 1455, but they have 3750 and 3790s too). Im tempted to buy here because of the surprisingly cheaper price (1455 for approx. Php 8K).
I need to learn and understand more and I'm grateful there is such a site as this. I'll do this as I gladly share whatever I discover from the Chinese versions of Garmin, or whatever else.
