    Mommy, what's a GPS?

I'm totally new at this. I'm tired of getting lost in Manila. I've decided I needed a GPS. I'm overwhelmed with all the information so far.

What's the best GPS device for someone who lives in Manila? I want the one with the most comprehensive map. From reading the forums, I think it comes down to AVT and the Nuvo. AVT is more accurate because it has updated maps from ACCU-MAP. Nuvo is not as updated but the users from this website update the maps themselves for everyone to download. AVT is also more expensive.

After updating the Nuvo with the downloaded file from this website, does it narrow the gap between it and the AVT?

I meant Nuvi. Wrong spelling. I think I'm getting the NUVI 200. I'll read up some more.

Jan, which GPS would you recommend? As I understand, only the NUVI 200 can use the maps downloaded from this website.
