I'm going on a short road trip tomorrow and in the process of reading the "How To" section. A little pressed for time. Do I understand right that, for my gps (Garmin 205) to record for uploading I just save them to favorites first? Thanks.

First off, welcome :-)

Regarding your query, you have to save them to favorites first so that you can access the POIs later.
