Hello to all BM's.

I went out & purchased a Nuvi 500 today.
My plan is to do some travelling around PI, sometime in the near future on 2 wheels.

I recently toured Vietnam with some buddies & had a ball.
My buddy who was leading the ride had a 60csx & it got us where we needed to go.
I had all intentions on buying the same model, but after doing some research & then getting totally confused, I opted for the 500.

I admit to be being totally dumb, so far as how the GPS works & all the terminology that goes with them........I have plenty of reading/learning to keep me occupied for a while.

our free map is quite extensive already. it wont get you lost.

if you can record your tracks in 1-sec intervals, pls do upload them at our track correction thread. it will help improve our map. tia.
