    Newbie from the South

    Good day to all...

I learned about this forum from a friend who is also a contributor here, I have long embraced the technology of GPS but forgotten for awhile because I thought it would take sometime for it to be available here in the Philippines, and now here it is...

A week from now, I'm expecting a Garmin Nuvi 750, I have not yet explored much of this site and I know that I have alot of reading to do...hope you guys can guide me and be patient in doing so...

I'm looking forward to contribute also not just to have the updated map but to expand the usability of GPS in our area...really excited to get my hands on the unit and start logging the places around...

Right now i'm learning to clean my tracks which i'm getting a hang on already.

I have alot of questions which I think I read the answers somewhere in this forum before but can't find it now that I have my unit. ( I should have used GPS to find my way back there..haha.. )

I'll be posting some questions but before I do, try ko muna on my own...

Goodevening guys...it's been awhile since my last visit here, medyo busy sa work lately, been reading here and there about saving tracks, I learned how to enable the logging feature of my NUVI750 but I don't know how to make it log every second? I noticed the the points in my tracks are sometimes far from each other, can anyone point me in the right direction how to set my unit to log every second?

also, how do I Activate off road feature when logging track?

                        thanks!

Hi dredd, welcome to roadguide, pls ck first the advise of Hbt. with regards to how to activate of OFF road feature when logging track, go to settings/navigation and select under route preference "offroad" normally in city driving we set it at faster time and not offroad. Of course if your gps has an easter egg feature, you can use this both either you are in the offroad mode or faster time mode etc

Guys, I think Dredd is asking how to show at GPS location and not stick to road. I don't have a nuvi so I can't tell how to navigate to the menu location for that feature.

                              In XT, it's Tools> Settings> Map> Show Location.
