For iPhone users,
1) After following the instructions for recording tracks

Connect iPhone to pc then in itunes,
2) Select your iPhone on the left, under Apps tab, scroll down to File sharing
3) Select Navitel on the left then select NavitelContent. Click Save to
4) Open the folder where you saved your tracks, default /NavitelContent/Tracks. Look for your file which by default is the date & time.mps (thanks to Arvin).
5) Open this file using Mapsource, edit accordingly and upload in the appropriate section. This will also qualify in the 1sec tracks for calibration thread if you deem necessary.
6) If on the other hand you saved your tracks using .gpx format, you might need to use mapedit to convert it to .gpx first before opening in mapsource. Also the .bin file generated by iPhone Navitel can't be opened by wnutrak.
