My NOKIA 6110 Navigator

Can i pls have step by step instruction? coz when i start garmin and start detecting gps device, when i press cancel it shuts down.. but when i press cancel it aslo shuts down.. it didnt start. but the first time i use it it works fine, only the map is missing. pls help me. tnx and more power.

please explain more clearly. you twice say "cancel: shut down"
