Garmin on iPhone

Got this working on my iphone 4s using OSM and roadguide PH typical maps for Garmin (gmasupp.img files). Indeed it requires a jb'd unit to copy the file across the target directories and set the necessary permissions. It's working fine so far and better than Navitel IMHO.
I wouldn't have known that Garmin PH maps would work with an iPhone if not for this thread. Thanks to the TS

Wifi only iPads don't have aGPS. Only those with cellular have GPS chips but don't necessarily need cell signals to get a fix. Try it without any sim card and it will still work.
