checked the apple website and it doesnt mention GPS capabilities. The maps can be used via wifi or gprs/3g signal.Though I could be wrong.

I tether my Nokia N78's gps with my iPod Touch 4. Any S60 Nokia with gps capability will work. A bluetooth gps receiver will also work.

            You will need:

            - Jailbreak your device

            - Install BTstack GPS from Cydia (paid app)

            - Install navigation app of your choice ( I use Papago Philippines. Paid)). All gps apps including Maps will work. xGPS from Cydia (free) allows you to save Google Maps on your device for offline use.

            On the Nokia N78:

            - Install ExtGPS

            To use:

            1. Run ExtGPS on Nokia.

            2. Run GPS app (installed by BTstack GPS) on iPod.

            3. Connect the Nokia in the GPS app.

            4. Wait for the Nokia to get a satellite lock.

            5. You are ready to navigate!
