has anyone heard about or used Locus? An android app which can be used with 10 mapping services [google map, ovi, yahoo map, osm etc].
you may use this online or either offline mode. when online, you are connected via 3g or hsdpa while during offline mode, you can download your desired area from the mapping services i have mentioned above.
great thing about this app is that your online or offline maps can be integrated with the built in gps. app is also quite accurate. what it does not do though is navigate or setup route.
