buy a garmin gps if you want to use our map here for free.

or purchase papago map from itunes. map came from here albeit a much lower version.

I wouldn't say "not allowed" or anything, it's just that there are no applications written for the Iphone to use Garmin compatible maps. If ever there is one in the future, then there is a Possibility that our maps can be used eventually.

aside from papago, is there other app we can use in iphone that uses rg's maps?

i know garmin have apps for iphone

There's Navitel for IOS - Lates RG map for this format is Aug 2011.

Can I download this app for my
iPhone 3gs

i have download from the appstore the Nav4D Philippines ( Low Cost ). the good thing about this app is that it doesn't need any internet connection for anybody to use it. the map is installed within the app itself.though the map is not fully updated, only the major roads in some urban areas are in the map.but within the city all are in the map. i believe it was $2.99. this one can be used only for a month and then it will stop working.there is another version which is for a lifetime that will cost you $49.99.
i bought the low cost version and the trick here is if you have the app in your itunes/pc. before it expires just uninstall it from your iphone, then just install it again thru your pc..it worked fine with my ip without any problem..
