i've created a simple GPS application for Windows Mobile Smartphones with the following features:
1. create a csv file log which you can use to convert into Garmin Tracks using the converter HERE
2. take a photo and your GPS position will be shown in the image name of the photo taken
3. send your GPS position through SMS
#2 and #3 may not be related to Garmin and Mapping but using #1 you can choose the GPS logging interval from 0.5 sec, 1sec, 2sec, and 5 sec and convert the csv to Garmin Tracks.
i hope this post will be RoadGuide.ph approved and would be useful for other Smartphone users.
please post comments and suggestions. Thank You.
EDIT:
1. Start/Stop Track will now create a new _trk.gpx which you can open using the MapSource directly.
2. added an option to create waypoints and will be saved as _wpt.gpx
