Bought an Accu-map for Baguio and found it to be very good and detailed. I will gradually try and bring our map up to their standard. Was a bit concerned to see that they sell a GPS system and wondered if I was wasting my time with Roadguide. Visited their offices in Manila to see unit. It is a Sanyo but I think it is an old model. No bluetooth and does not look like any of the current models on Sanyo web site. All Sanyo new models have bluetooth. The maps seem very good but are major cities only. Very little detail outside of the major cities. They thought it would be 2 years before they improve detail of the countryside. 20,000 peso makes very expensive. So in a way I was pleased. We are not wasting our time - keep mapping

I thought also of buying one quite a long time ago, but I was also worrying about the old model and the high price. And the company seems not to have really good know how about GPS.
Look at these videos on Youtube, map accuracy seems not good:

Was happy to get a Nuvi from the US.

for accuracy, you'll have to thank jan and roadguide. unit will always just be the unit. accuracy issue, its the map!- Bruce LeeEmpty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash.
