    Streetpilot i2,i3, i5

    * Small, inexpensive but robust automotive GPS navigator
    * Unique and convenient click-to-enter scroll wheel makes it easy to select destinations
    * Three-dimensional map graphics with voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions through a built-in speaker
    * Automatically puts you back on course when you make a wrong turn or run into traffic problems
    * Measures 3 x 2.74 x 2.15 inches (W x H x D)
    * Affordable plug-and-play, WAAS-enabled, 12-parallel channel GPS system
    * Nearly 6 million points of interest
    * Turn-by-turn automatic routing
    * Voice guidance
    * Bright, 2.2" TFT color display
    * 3-D or 2-D map perspective
    * Built-in speaker and patch antenna
    * Convenient scrolling wheel with click-to-enter
    * Easy transfer between vehicles
    * Removable Transflash data storage for additional maps
    * Runs on two AA batteries or 12-volt adapter cable

    Here's the rundown:
    i2 - has a black and white screen (shades of gray is more subtle)US CitySelect maps not installed, but included as a dvd.
    i3 - colored screen, US CitySelect maps not installed, but included as a dvd.
    i5 - colored screen with preloaded US maps

    * All units runs on 2x AA batteries, which is a nice thing since you can buy them almost anywhere in the world.
    * It uses an old school 12 parallel channel receiver that may have difficulty getting a satellite lock inside a tinted car. An external antenna can easily fix this.
    * It has a built in mcx port to plug in an external patch antenna.
    * Processor is quite slow (relatively slow in recalculating routes)
    * No touch screen here. 3 simple buttons(power, back, scroll wheel that clicks)
    * Transflash (microsd) slot for additional storage for maps.
    * This unit will work as a receiver with Garmin's nRoute (yay!)

      Hi Ben,

      Quite happy because its the only GPS receiver I have that will work with nroute. But its close to useless without an external antenna.
