    Just a Query

Would like to know if you guys cannot also view POI and street names when not routing? I can only see the track/street lines and mostly without the street names.

In attachment (cruising), no streetnames, POI shown. However when you try to edit, you can see everything from POI and street names. Is there an option wherein you can see everything when in cruising mode (POI, streetnames)? I mean its just nice to be driving and see whats ahead of you.

On the 255W, even at max zoom (3D mode), no POIs can be seen. If you zoom out, the names of the streets around you starts to appear but still no POI.
          There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Already tried that. Same with the 255, no POI. Unless I place the POI in 'favorite', it shows. Is there any work around with this option? Or should I manually save all POI to favorite?

This is a limitation of Nuvi really. Maybe Garmin does not want to have a cluttered display. But it would have been better if they have put this function with the option of switching it off anytime.
