nuvi50, how to upload maps?

nuvi50, how to upload maps?, i tried mapsource and using the basic map, but upon opening am encountering message "cannot unlock maps"

please help me.

Just to double check you install the file from this page?

In mapsource if you can check the upper left hand side it should indicate the map version it should say "roadguide.ph 1.07 basic map" or something to that effect.

If you are not using RG 1.07 then you should use this only, as this is the only one available for non contributors or newbies.

This map/file is "unlocked" as default so you really should not have an unlock problem at all.

Please post again if you still are having problems..
