I am pretty sure it was locked on to satellites before I left the house but will check carefully next time.

By the way it works very nicely via bluetooth with my iPhone.

Got to use my cellphone and the 265t while driving around the Metro this afternoon. Setup was easy and straightforward. Just turn on the bluetooth on the Nuvi and your cell (set 'discoverable' on your cellphone) and just follow the instructions. Voice quality is ok. But the Nuvi speaker tends to crack a little if the volume setting is too high. And I wouldn't recommend dialing when driving. I almost ran a red light when I tried dialing a number.

Overall, it's a good feature for just answering calls. Dialing is like juggling while walking on a high wire. But if you already have a bluetooth handsfree device like the Jabra, the Jabra is still the way to go. Maybe just have the Nuvi as backup if you run out of batter on the Jabra. Or you can use it along with the Jabra if you have 2 phones.

I Agree. I almost always have someone in the car with me so I ask them to do the dialing if we are moving.
