Help: nuvi1450 trouble "System Software Missing"

Hi all!,

Anyone here experienced having the same problem in their Nuvi's?
My Nuvi1450 just suddenly spelled the error message " System Software Missing".

I tried webupdate. But during the autoupdating the webupdate application on my PC will display an ..." update file corrupted" message.

on the gamin site, the recommendation for Europe based units is to bring the unit to the nearest Garmin office... sounds very depressing for me...

.. a helping hand is greatly appreciated ...

stupid suggestion but did you try the webupdater another time again? or download the upgrade exe file?

else i'm afraid to say it doesn't look to good

I actually tried webupdater several times without any success.

I am curious about the upgrade exe file- i dont have any, and the webupdater is downloading this in the background so I dont have any means to identify it.
This would be a good workaround to try to, if i only know what the file is.

That means you have no Detailed Philippine Map.. What you see is only a base map (major road only) which is true for Garmin GPS from US with North American Map brought here in the phils..
