nuvi 1300 and off road tracking

Good day.

I was tracking with my nuvi 1300 today.
but apparently, the gps kept on looking for the closest street and track its location there.

how do i set the gps to not go to the closest street since I am tracking a new street for contribution?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked this and all the other threads concerning 1s tracks on nuvis?

look for in settings --> Navigation --> route preferences and select off road so that you can plot roads that are not present in roadguide
