Cannot authenticate maps in nuvi 1300

I just upgraded the firmware of my gamin nuvi 1300 awhile ago but
Now I cannot open the roadguide map even if it's already unlocked... I think gamin did something that would unable other third
Party
Maps to be installed... If anyone has any
Idea what to do please help.. my GPS is now useless without the
Philippines map... I can't even install other
Maps too...

If it was working before u just have to revert to the firmware u had before!

everything is fine now...i found a way w/o downgrading my firmware....thanks anyway... if u need to know i can pm u how...

Maybe you can also PM one of the admins to check if it is okay to post what you did in public, I think you are the only one who had this problem.

I myself do not plan on upgrading my unit's firmware... if it aint broke and such

need help to revert my nuvi 1300 to old firmware, i updated it with the latest firmware version, i didnt know the bad result. i really need the contributor map to work.

May I know what you did to make your contributor's map work? I upgraded mine to the latest version and after that, I can't use the contributors map anymore. It says "Cannot Authenticate Map"
