If you're feeling kind of bored from the standard TTS-generated voices, I suggest you download Dr. Nightmare from Garmin website and load it in your gps unit. He's kind of an interesting campanion which keeps you alert especially when you're driving alone at night in some unfamiliar roads. Try it and you'll know what I mean.

there are some 3rd party voices available compatible with garmin, some with featured celebrity voice. you can purchase them online.
have you tried garmin voice studio? it's a free program where you can also customize your own voice prompt. haven't tried it yet personally though as i'm still enjoying some of the preloaded files. karen with her australian accent is cool.
