hi im new to this road guide Philippines GPS mapping project.
i would like to ask if to download a free Philippine map that i can use.
i bought a garmin nuvi 255w in the U.S. and im gonna use this device also here in the Philippines.

where can i download a map?
and is this Gps device works here in the phiippines?
comments and suggestions are all welcome. please help me guys

welcome to roadguide.
i am also using 255w and works very well with our map here in the philippines.
and all our maps are free.

click HERE for version 1.07. this is free and can be transferred to your device. however, this is not the latest map.

click HERE for version 1.13f. this is the latest map we have. but with your present status as junior member, you can only load this to your pc as a demo map but cannot be transferred yet to your device. but once you become contributor by contributing data like waypoints, tracks or polygons, then you can load the latest map to your device.
