    Google Maps to GPS Feature

    Hi guys,

I wonder who has encountered this issue.

Whenever looking for POI's, I use Google Maps then manually (estimating distance) loading it in MapSource.

There seems to be a better way to do it. Once you load the Garmin Communicator Plugin, you can send the Google Map location directly to your GPS. There will be a send to CAR and GPS option that would be available.

The problem is, it seems to only appear in other locations rather than the Philippine MAP on Google Maps. I tried it using POI's in the US and Canada, and the send to GPS plugin works. But if I search locations in the Philippines, it only allows me to send it via email.

    Weird!

    Position Finder

You can also try Position Finder in Google Maps (you have to login first then click My Maps then Browse the Directory) to get the coordinates and then input in your GPS or Mapsource.

      Thanks Liberty.

It is a bit tedious as well, but at least it removes the guesstimates I am currently doing when inputting in MapSource.
