255W vs. 285WT

As per my friend/supplier, the 255W is out of stock and he is offering me the 285WT. Is this a reasonable replacement? The 285WT is already discontinued in the US. Are there any outstanding issues with the 285WT? Your comments are very welcome.

AFAIK, the 285WT is not yet discontinued. If it were, the 255W would've been the first to go.

Nuvi models that ends with a "5" are the current models, in fact.
