nuvi 205W

I bought a new garmin 205W from u.s.a., i loaded a basic philippine map on it, but it won't work. It's seems still lock to the u.s. maps. Please help me on this, im a newbee. Thanks a lot

Download the gmapsupp.img, copy it to the /gamin folder in you Nuvi, go outside with a clear view of the sky, wait for it to lock in your position, normally less than 5 minutes. It should be straightforward.

I have the 205w as well. my first experience with a gps- It's a neat unit.
