Sana mabigyan ulit ako ni Judge ng code pagbalik ko sa Pinas.
buying from thr US is really cheaper than buying here
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

if your buying a nuvi 205, why not splurge a little more for the 255 since this model speaks street names. i originally asked my brother in the US to get me a 205,then i bought a second one (255) after a week as i wanted my nuvi to recognize also street names instead of generically saying "turn right or left". at least i takes less glances at my nuvi since i can just listen for the voice prompts. for me its safer that way. i think the 255 costs around $150.

Depends from whom you buy it.

Problem here is it will sound funny when the 255 pronounces most of our street names in english accent (for example Kalayaan, Katipunan, Paseo de roxas, etc.)

it will sound funny but it's so much easier (rizal is another one that gets pronounced funny)
How to get the upgraded map.

            It's a sick world and I'm a happy man...

I did want to get the N255 which, according to the Best Buy site, is on sale @ $129.99. However, it's currently unavailable in the stores here in Atlanta. Too bad.

                  A Garmin Nuvi 205 User

                  Hi everyone!

I'm a new member and I'm glad to know this site, where I can give and take information about road map of our country the Philippines.

I bought my Garmin GSP for only Php9,800.00 in a store at Greenhills Shopping Center 8 months ago. It's already with a pre-installed Philippine and North America Map and it's complete with accessories and softwares.

Right now using it in the Philippine road is not accurate because I think roads in Metro Manila especially the roads/streets routes/waypoints information is not updated. You will be advised to make a right or left turn in a oneway or a route that will find you lost if you are not familiar with the area.

But even with these problems encountered, I'm proud to have a GPS and I know with our help, will update the information of our roads/streets.
