boss jan hope you update this too cause its hard to ask for unlock codes i have 2 fones with gps my mapsource unlock map is only for my garmin so theres no way i could use them on my fone

"Won't work" does not really translate to what you need help on. There is no description of error, experience, problem, or steps you performed to correct the issue. Btw, there's a wealth of information in the FAQ portion. One of the thread will probably solve the problem you are having.

just got my sisters garmin nuvi 250 from the US. I believe its pre loaded with NT maps USA. i try downloading this philippine maps gmapsupp.img and jlink 5.08 and followed instructions to load to my garmin but wont work, kindly help i need advice,thanks

if you have a legal copy of mobilext and are trying to load the free map from here, you do not need the mapid.

how do i make this work? i alrady downloaded garmin mobile xt and i have installed it to my E71, but the application just boots up until the garmin logo then it shuts down.... help...

The units vary in processors and chipsets, platform and footprint but the language and unit OS reads the same data. You should be good...

That's a very nice unit btw. I will be upgrading to 7x5t series in several months.

I will install it then and yes the unit is really lovely. It makes my driving much easy and I even use it in my daily trip just to get used to it. Plus I use the bluetooth capability of the unit to connect to my phone and it acts as my headset. The sound is connected to my radio so I can hear instructions clearly.. O i can tell a lot of things about this unit.

Philippine Routable Problem

I already downloaded Philippine Routable, once I run it, my Kaspersky anti-virus identify it as a WORM Virus and it automatically delete the file. I've tried it several times but the same result. HOw can I install it?

Good Morning!

I have been reading all the information to get a copy of the Philippine map for my new Garmin Nuvi 260W I bought from the states, but I get an error when I try to extract the gmapsupp.img per the instructions. I have attached a screen shot of the error. I have tried this numerous times on 2 different PC. Can someone help me?
