    Hi Jan,

Do you have a more updated map? I'm an OFW and i visit Philippines 2 to 3 times a year only. I want to see new places in the Philippines. I'm not a contributor. How can I get it?

hi to all, i got the same message "cant unlock map" when doing the "mapsouce way" of installing the map(demo 1.09 turns up as a 30MB gmapsupp.img file)
but when i do the copy and paste of the smaller gmapsupp.img(17mb file) no problems, does demo map mean really just to see and not to transfer to device? or did i do something wrong?
thanks to all; keep up the good work and happy nu year

i would encourage people responsible for the map to start thinkng of commercial distribution not just for financial gain but it would be a good service to the public or they can always give it for free also

does anyone know how close you guys are to mapping out the whole philippine road network? in terms of percentage

hats off to you guys great work, i hope you all get rewarded for your efforts

i just hope we can have a map thats works for in car navigation systems... sorry

thats a very generous gesture, many thanks from all of us, i have personally benefited from your efforts

but what if there comes a time when you finally complete the map? and contributors are no longer needed

just wondering not really questioning you , but there is always the possiblility to reaching completion however slim the chances.

its a great system you got going here, but visiting tourists that really need the map dont know we have it, sayang naman and they wont benefit if its not commercially available...its kinda like a secret society no one but a few knows it exists. Its like we need to get the word out so more people can benefit. its a great contribution to the Philippines.

i got my gps in 2008 because i happen to stumble upon the map before, swerte, funny, na una pa ung map kesa a gps i just hope more people can find this so more people can enjoy

i think contributors will always be needed. new building arises, new streets made or streets renamed, new establishments opening while others closing, new routes, one way revisions, etc etc. improving and updating it will be an endless process. there are always plenty of room for improvements.

correct ka dyan, but few know about it, its a good service, heck its very good service, but not really very public is it? only a few know, because its free no money to get it out to the general public by means of adverts. anyway its in the development stage pa naman i hope it will be truly available to the public soon
