downloaded the map img before, i just went to NAIA Centennial Terminal 2 today, t'was not on the map? really?

also, i'm not very familiar with the terminologies. If I tag a place on a map, for example, the Centennial 2 location, can I share or contribute it for the map? how?

the img you download is the v5.17 map which is what we call the teaser map.
what we are using right now is the v1.09 contributors map. and its the more complete map. the centennial 2 is there.

to get this map is to contributes waypoints, tracks, polygon etc...(which we need)
you can download the v1.09 DEMO map which you can view only in the mapsource but cannot transfer to yur device.

please go through the "how to" section and familiarize yourself.

Ok I see. I remember my friend using his E71 navigation system and he mentioned that he did not purchase anything to get the detailed MM map and navigation system working on his Nokia E71.

Unfortunately my friend is no longer in the Philippines.

Is what he said about not purchasing to get that capability possible?

we wouldnt advise you to buy if its a freeware.
but my suggestion is to buy a nuvi if you can. nuvi255 is best entry level gps unit for navigation.
