hi billordiway, there are two maps..
1. The demo map which is only used with Mapsource to compare your contributions and cannot be directly loaded to your unit.
2. The standard map which is the limited version (.img file) which is ready and can be loaded to your gps unit. (e.g. x:\garmin)
You need to contribute in order to get access to the contributor's version of the map.. Please kindly read the How To section...
