Hi, good day. please bear with me, i tried reading thru the posts but i have not read anyone having trouble downloading.
I was just wondering if there is a problem with the download link provided.
I've tried to download the img many times but it never gets completed, it will just stop midway thru the download.

maybe isp problem?
also try to save it first then after finishing download, run exe file.

hi knight, try to delete the incomplete file and try again.. I also tried it using two different connections and was able to download w/o any problem..

I'm a swiss men and i drive a motocross, and i buy an zumo 660 i have an roadmap on it from the philippines but its only 46mb and not so exactly.

so my question - can i find here an exactly card and where??

i already download any "trainings" maps but whats now???

please help me!!! and sorry for my simple english...

Hi feweili & welcome to Roadguide. Please download the gmapsupp.img file of the Roadguide standard map here http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=6. This gmapsupp.img file is the file that you copy/paste to your gps. Please make sure to make a back-up copy of the existing map in your gps because this procedure will overwrite whatever existing road map you have... HTH

Im a first time user and ive downloaded the map 3 times but im not able to run the exe file. Its telling me the file is corrupt, and asking me to try downloading it again. Is there any chance someone is able to send me the map (standard map philippines/metro manila) or how can i get it?

first of all welcome to roadguide.
tried it just now and was able to dl it successfully...maybe isp problem.
full file is 9.59Mb. file less than that will result in corrupt file message.
hope youll get it na.

Had the same problem last night (while downloading the latest 1.08 Contributor's Map) and was only able to complete it by utilizing Firefox with DownThemAll! add-on. Hope this helps

I've looked all over the forum and I can't find the answer to this basic question (and I've used MapSource before, but after a clean reinstall of my computer I'm having to start all over again).

copy paste extracted gmapsupp.img in the garmin(or appropriate folder of your device)

But when I try and open gmapsupp.img I'm told it's not a valid Mapsource file.

How can I open the map in MapSource?

Garmin nuvi 1300

Hello, I am trying to install the roadmaps on a 1300 and used MapSource and uploaded the maps and also copy and past the gmapsupp.img into the garmin folder and when the unit is on it shows that is has the PH maps and displays the city Icons put does not display the streets, when you touch screen and click go, then it shows the highlight where the road should be and name, but that is all no other road or streets, all though when your touching the creen the street names appear. Please help,

Hi Bill.
Welcome to Roadguide.
If you have uploaded maps thru mapsource then no need to paste img file. That is two different way of uploading map into your gps unit.
With regards to your question, what you have is our standard map which is an old version, maybe just maybe on those portion you mentioned, streets were not included yet. But these missing streets definitely included now in our latest map version 1.08. Pls get our demo map 1.08 and compare with standard map. Demo map 1.08 is latest but can not be uploaded to gps unit. You got to have unlock key to upload it. Unlock key is given only to contributors. HTH. If you have more questions, just post it.
